Role. – Category Buyer- IT Procurement ( Indirect purchase)
Job Location - Viman Nagar, Pune
Role and Responsibilities
- Understand the requirement by discussing with internal stakeholders
- Work towards sourcing potential suppliers to support the requirement
- Review multiple quotes from the existing vendors & new vendors as directed, independently
- Work towards procurement of IT Hardware and Software
- Work towards creation of AMCs for maintenance of machines
- Spares procurement and rate contracts for machines and equipment
- Review and analysis of models for software procurement to ensure cost advantage to the organization
- Work towards standardization and consolidation initiatives to reduce overall cost and TAT
- Conduct Techno-commercial negotiation with shortlisted vendors and recommend final vendor
- Raise the purchase order of the finalized quotation in SA
- Ensure approval & release of PO and delivery to vendor
- Follow-up with the vendor for the delivery as per the terms mentioned in the PO
- Ensure GRN in system and make sure that the bills are booked in the Accounts so that the payments are done as per the terms in the PO, independently"
- Knowledge of SAP MM Module and well versed with PO creation and SAP reporting process
