Role/ Position : Asst Manager – Insurance Operations
Position Summary:
To handle the insurance portfolio of the firm which involves structuring suitable insurance programs, negotiate placement with insurance companies, coordinate claims and submit periodic updates.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
-Collect project data from project teams, negotiate terms with insurance companies and put in place appropriate insurance policies.
• All projects are on EPC basis in the areas of T&D, Civil, Smart infra, solar, railway
electrification etc.
• The projects are in India and international locations
• Insure the assets like factories, offices etc under annual programs
• Put in place appropriate employee benefit insurance policies for employees in India and abroad
• Keep track of expiry of policies and ensure their renewals/extensions on time.
• Collect claims information from the sites/factories/offices and coordinate the claims process for settlement.
• Develop a panel of intermediaries (brokers/TPAs/surveyors) for the firm's insurance purposes.
• Develop a panel of insurance companies for firm insurance requirements.
• Ensure payment of premiums on time, reconciliation of balances with insurance companies and collection of claim payments periodically.
• Manage insurance team.
