Position - Business Finance Analyst
Location - Worli, Mumbai
Roles & Responsibilities -
1.Preparation and consolidation of periodical MIS reports -
Monitoring performance of respective businesses through monthly/ quarterly reports, highlighting key achievements & areas of concerns, & suggesting areas of improvement. Preparation of Quarterly Investor/Board Presentation and Board Notes capturing relevant insights for the
stakeholders.
2. Tracking external environment- Closely tracking target industry, competitor news and macro-economic indicators to understand its implication on our respective businesses. Analysis of financial results
of competitors and benchmarking business performance. Identify gaps/scope for improvement and provide suitable recommendations for leadership team.
3.Digital Initiatives- Automation of MIS reports and timely updation of
Business Performance Dashboards by utilising digital tools (like Power BI, Qlikview etc). Responsible for maintaining documents library (Chairman approval notes on capex/quarterly performance/P&B documents,
business presentations, BRC related documents,financials models etc) of
respective businesses through a digital platform.
4.Business planning, strategy planning - Assisting business head’s office in strategic initiatives and financial implications, preparation of Pre-P&B notes to the Chairman and finalization of P&B deck of respective Businesses.
5. Large Capex/New Project proposals- Assisting businesses in evaluation of strategic project proposals by supporting in preparation of financial models
& proposal notes.
6. Participating in the critical making of the business decision - Be a part of the periodical reviews by Business Head and follow up the progress on critical projects under execution, recoding minutes of each meeting and follow up on the progress of critical issues.
