Job Description -
Responsible for performing risk assessment, identifying mitigating controls, performing test of design efficiency and test of operating effectiveness for the processes assigned
Meet timelines for the deliverables
Reviewing the work of staff for assigned processes
Knowledge of accounting standards, preferably IFRS and its application / interpretation
Maintain deficiency tracker and discuss the same with the process owners on a monthly basis
Responsible for ensuring that any changes to policies / procedures / applications for the allocated processes are assessed for risk and pragmatic controls are recommended and implemented
Liaise with external auditors to co-ordinate and discuss audit assignments, issues and audit observations
