JOB DESCRIPTION
Leverage broader Finance team resources to drive change in the different Finance functions
Review exceptions to policies and provide financial direction
Provide effective financial controls for the BU-s and ensure compliance with the corporate processes and procedures
Processing Payroll, Managing statutory payments and returns / Payment for APAC, EUROPE & North Americas, Managing EPF, ESI,LWF,PT, Income tax and other statutory contributions .
Liaison with statutory authorities and coordination central office to handle audit / inspection and reports if any required.
Hands on with monthly book close process including preparation of accruals, reconciliations and month end schedules
Performance planning – prepare/ sign off on Key Result Areas / deliverables of the team in order to meet the operational objectives of the team
Has ability to drive projects relevant to payroll to completion and within the required timelines
Good Understanding of Process, Systems, Procedures and Policies related to payroll.
Work with general accounting and procurement to provide support and resolutions improved productivity
Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations
Managing Audits and Reporting as per IFRS / IGAAP standards
Proactively identifies opportunities for improvements and makes recommendations
Implement various Finance initiatives and actions as per given guidelines
Implements and assures effective business controls through review, analysis, and verification
Prerequisites
B.Com / M.com / CA (Inter) with 3 Years post qualification experience in accounting, finance, or related field. Payroll experience will be an added advantage.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel
Ability to develop action plans and follow-up to completion.
Self-motivates, proficient in managing multiple tasks, flexible in accepting additional responsibilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
