Position : Dy Manager/ Manager / Chief Manager- Financial Reporting -Finance
Job Location : Mumbai ( Chembur)
Roles and Responsibilities :
Role 1 : Financial Reporting ( Manager / Chief Manager)
· Support implementation of Ind-AS as per applicable timelines for the bank
· Management of accounts including effective implementation of accounting policies & processes
· Support in preparation of all financial statements and accounts for the audit as per Ind-AS / Indian GAAP
· Timely and accurate month and quarterly close
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of analysis and data integrity
- Responsible for review and preparation of various period end accounting journals during month and on monthends.
- Lead and execute process improvement initiatives within the team and improve efficiency.
Role 2 : Financial Controller( Manager / Dy Manager)
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Leading control function at CFOs office to ensure the completeness of financial statements
- Implement effective GL review mechanism including substantiation & reconciliations, its approval and audit; drive meetings within organization for resolution of accounting issues, if any
- Review of work at an analytical level for proactive & preventive error detection
- Perform analytical reviews of financial data and Trial Balance analysis prior to month-end financial statement validation
- Lead/Facilitate/Participate in quarterly Balance Sheet reviews
- Acting as a shadow auditor:
- Ensuring completeness of Financials before submission to auditors
- Ensuring FSCP process is followed while preparing Financials
- Review of data to be provided to auditors (from all departments) – cross checking from multiple angles/multiple data points to ensure that accurate data submission
- Co-ordination with accounts, other functions and auditors during the audit period
· Drive projects / identify automation opportunities
