RESPONSIBILITIES
This position manages the information Technology, Operational technology, Cyber security of OT systems, Factory automation systems like handling of the Automatic Storage & Retrieval systems, OT Servers, upkeep of the fire alarm system & surveillance system, field instruments like Flow meters, Level sensors, Load cell systems, actuated valves etc ;
-Hands on experience on the PLC, DCS , SCADA, various communication protocols – knowledge on integration ,Ø programming of PLC/DCS systems &trouble shooting of automation systems .
-Experience of preparation of capital expenditure project proposals, design, procurementØ & Installation of the systems
-Ensure adherence to firm’s Quality System in the respective work areas such as :
Capex : Planning , Budgeting ,Purchase , Commissioning , reconciliation and benefit Assessment
Purchase : Purchase of Engineering Material and general items, Annual Maintenance Contract , Annual Rate contract ,Year-end declarations
Store : Inward of Material , Stock Taking , Assessment of new vendors·
Calibration : Inclusion / deletion of equipment for calibration in the annual calibration· chart , finalization of frequency of calibration , review of calibration status
Maintenance : Review of Preventive , predictive and breakdown maintenance with· team , Planning of yearly maintenance and shutdown,
Cost Control : Preparation of Annual Budget for Revenue expenditure such “Stores ,· Spares , Repairs” and “Power & Fuel” for entire plant and establish control mechanism
Liasioning / Networking with Statutory bodies such as Factory Inspector, Weights & Measures, Local Industrial Development Corporation, Narcotics, CCOE, etc.
Work in close coordination with other stakeholders / cross functional members toØ meet organizational business objectives and to mitigate business risk in the areas of Productivity , Statutes , Quality , Safety and Environment Ensure work place hygiene through “Employee Relationship”Ø & “Customer centricity” with respect to firm’s context.
Essential Experience in Engineering function in chemical/FMCG/Pharmaceutical Industry having exposure to Management of Projects , Maintenance of Plant with revenue expenditure of Rs 50 crores and having more than 800 to 1000 Unionised and Contract employee
