Experience - 5 - 9 Years (Post Qualification)
Job Responsibilities:
The Marketing Consultant should be able to do the following:
a) Develop a Market Assessment by providing a holistic overview of the market, its size, competition,
potential customers, the key historical supply and demand drivers and economic and demographic
overview.
b) Conduct Market Analysis by providing information about potential strengths and weaknesses in the
target market, about growth, current and future trends, external factors, and specific competitors.
c) Conduct Market Research aimed at providing an understanding of the target market including the
key supply and demand drivers local, regional and international market conditions with special
consideration being given to the following research objectives:
- Estimate the market trends, niches and demands including analysis of the
demand and the factors affecting it
- Define and evaluate factors affecting supply and demand
- Estimate the prices’ trends
- Identify current market players and outline their strengths and weaknesses
- Evaluate market demand and historical growth by value and/or volume
- Identify target segments
- Forecast potential demand by value and/or volume for the next ten years
- Key performance indicators: obtain historical key financial performance indicators
for key competitors
- SWOT Analysis
- Brief overview of legal and regulatory environment of the same industry. As well
as, relevant key potential risk factors for investments in similar developments in
the area, including any existing or proposed government policy that would
positively or negatively affect such investments
